Compatibility & Application Notes

Joint Sand / Polymeric Sand

This sealer is designed to provide structural joint stabilization with standard joint sand, reducing the need for polymeric sand in applicable installations.

If polymeric sand is already installed, make sure it is fully cured, completely dry, and free of surface dust or residue before applying sealer. Residual moisture or dust can contribute to visible haze.

Natural Stone Compatibility

Ultra Wet Look can be used on suitable concrete pavers, clay pavers, travertine, and natural-stone surfaces.

Because natural stone may absorb sealer differently than concrete pavers, apply thin, even coats and avoid pooling.

Always confirm compatibility with the exact material and test in an inconspicuous area before treating the full surface.

Before You Apply

  • Surface must be clean and dry before sealing.
  • Remove dust, dirt, efflorescence, and other surface contamination.
  • Confirm compatibility with the exact paving or stone material.
  • Do not apply over trapped moisture.
  • Test a small inconspicuous area first.
  • Follow the product label and current manufacturer instructions.

Curing & Return to Use

  • Foot traffic: after 24 hours
  • Vehicular traffic: after 48 hours
  • Avoid sharp turning, sudden braking, or heavy stress during early cure.

Maintenance / Resealing

Typical resealing intervals are approximately every 2–3 years, depending on sun exposure, traffic, wear, maintenance, and surface conditions.

Application results depend on surface preparation, material compatibility, environmental conditions, and proper use.

Product story

About Ultra Wet Look — Paver Sealer

Ultra Wet Look is a modified acrylic urethane paver sealer supplied in a 5-gallon pail. Its glossy, wet-look finish is the defining visual choice: it is intended for customers seeking that appearance rather than the untreated look of a paving surface.

Before choosing a sealer, identify the existing paver material and any previous treatment. Ask Universal for the current product instructions and confirm compatibility with the exact surface. Container size alone does not establish coverage, the number of coats or the result on your installation.

Explore the paver accessories range alongside the materials in your project. Discuss preparation, application and maintenance requirements using the product documentation before ordering or applying the sealer.
